Flag Master Website — Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Flag Master website at flagmastergame.com, a free educational resource about the flags of the world. The website is run by ddontti studio, Republic of Korea (“we”, “us”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. Flag Master mobile apps have their own terms, shown inside each app.
1. Using the website
The website is free and can be used without an account or login. You may use it for personal, educational and other non-commercial purposes.
2. Nothing for sale
The website sells nothing and has no paid features. Your progress, scores, records and any in-game items on the website exist only for play: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or anything else, and they have no monetary value. They are kept in your browser and are removed if you clear this site’s data.
3. Advertising
The website is supported by advertising. Ads may be shown through Google AdSense; Google selects and delivers them.
Viewing or clicking an ad never earns points, items or any other benefit on the website, and no feature requires you to view or click an ad.
Please do not click ads you are not interested in, generate ad views or clicks by automated means, or encourage anyone else to do so.
How advertising cookies are used, and how to opt out of personalised ads, is explained in the Privacy Policy: https://flagmastergame.com/privacy/en
4. Rankings (optional)
Taking part in the rankings is optional. When you join, the website offers you a nickname made from a fixed list of words; you can draw another one, but you cannot type your own. Your nickname, your results and the colour and badge you chose are shown publicly on the boards.
Play fairly: do not use bots, scripts, modified pages or other tools to submit results, and do not interfere with how rounds are scored. We may remove entries or nicknames that break these terms, and we may reset or change the boards.
To have your ranking entry deleted, write to the address in section 11. What the rankings send and store is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website or the services it uses. Do not remove copyright or licence notices, and do not use the website in any way that breaks the law.
6. Accuracy and disputed territories
We work to keep the content accurate. Facts such as capitals, population figures, memberships of international organisations and the law that defines a flag are shown with their source and the date they were last checked, and a fact that cannot be traced to a source is hidden rather than guessed. Information can still change or contain mistakes, so the website is a learning resource, not an official, legal or diplomatic reference. Please check important facts with official sources.
Maps are simplified for learning and do not represent legal or survey boundaries, or any position on sovereignty or recognition.
The status of some territories (for example Taiwan, Palestine and Kosovo) is disputed internationally. Country and region names follow the open data sources listed in section 7, statuses are labelled where they are disputed or de facto, and no label expresses a political position.
The bonus games in the Symbols section are a historical fantasy inspired by real coats of arms and figures, not a historical record.
If you find a mistake, please tell us, with a source if possible (section 11).
7. Intellectual property and licences
Apart from the third-party material listed below, the website’s text, design and software belong to ddontti studio. Please do not copy or republish them without permission, except where the law allows.

Anthem recordings, performed by the U.S. Navy Band, are streamed from the Internet Archive; rights in the recordings and in the music remain with their holders.
Flags, coats of arms and other national symbols may also be protected by national laws on their use, separately from copyright.
8. Links to other websites
The website links to other websites, such as the sources cited for facts, Wikimedia Commons and the Internet Archive. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or end any feature, including the rankings, at any time. To the extent permitted by law, ddontti studio is not liable for any loss arising from use of the website or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; if you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
